Word of Mouth

This is an example of the exponential returns of word of mouth. I recently read an anthology and emailed the author to ask the name of one of the contributors. When he wrote me back I noticed his email signature said: “visit my lens” and included a link to a beta community. I signed up. In a matter of a few days, I’ve exposed about 50 people to this site. Average this among all the users and the number is astronomical.
